To get your KCPE results 2023 via mobile phone, send an SMS with your Index Number to code 20076.
Input your index number
Next, add your KCPE exam index number.
The format is Index numberKCPE. Type the word KCPE in capital letters. Don’t leave a space between the index number and the word KCPE.
KNEC charges KES 25 to get your KCPE results 2023 via SMS code 20076.
The KCPE exam results can be obtained via any of the three mobile network providers i.e. Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom (formerly Orange networks).

How to check KCPE results using the KNEC Online Portal
Here is how to check KCPE results 2023 via the KNEC portal.
- Go to the KNEC website https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/
- Click on the KCPE results tab
- Choose the year you did the KCPE exams
- Enter your index number
- Click on the Submit button
- Your KCPE results will be displayed on the KNEC website.
Other methods to check KCPE results 2023
- Visit your now former primary school. Respective schools will post the examination results for their KCPE candidates.

The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) is awarded by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) on completion of primary education.
The primary school KCPE examinations involve subjects such as:
